I have just started producing motorsport awnings.
The specification is as follows,
Heavy duty anodised aluminium frames with reinforced nylon brackets, bearings etc. and stainless steel pivots and spring locating pins.
Sizes now available are 3m x 3m, 4,5m x 3m and 6m x 3m. Colours are either red, white or blue. Each frame and canopy comes with it's own reinforced carry bag, tie down straps and pegs.
Sidewall sets, in the same colours are also available. These, like the canopy, are produced in 500g flame retardent and waterproof polyester and attatch by velcro and tie on straps, all sidewalls can zip together to make a completely weatherproof shelter. 1 side wall and 1 end wall have a 'zip out' door facility which simply rolls up and clips to the top panel. Again, each sidewall set comes in it's own carrybag.
Pictures show the 4,5m x 3m option.
Prices are as follows:
3m x 3m Frame & canopy £260 Sidewall set £75
4,5m x 3m Frame and canopy £340 Sidewall set £85
6m x 3m Frame and canopy £430 Sidewall set £100
No vat to pay. Delivery costs dependant on location.
If several people wish to make a 'group buy' (say lads north of the border) I could probably arrange to ship 3 units or more to a single destination free of charge.
If anyone would like more info or want to order, please e-mail or PM me.
If it's of any interest, I could bring orders to Abingdon for pick up on the day.
Alternatively, anyone wishing to take a look before then is welcome to come over to have a look at my demo unit.
I'm north of Nottingham.
Cheers,
Mick.

Dicky,
If you can give me some idea of the size and height you need, I'll see if I can help. :)

Sorry Dicky,
Thought you wanted an awning to fit the van not to it. :o
We do a 6m x 3m free standing awning but not one that fits to a vehicle.
Would that not be suitable?

Hi Mick,
Whats the rough size of the 3m x 3m once packed up in the bag (not including the sidewalls), and are these the same ones at Johns on saturday?
Thanks,

Russell

Hi Russell,

The 3m x 3m frame and canopy are approx. 350mm x 350mm x 1600mm high when packed into the carry bag.
John's is the same type although his is the 6m x 3m. As you saw, the sidewalls come in their own seperate bag.
