Two people asked me if there was a source of rear lights for the Stratos at Stoneleigh this weekend. I said Gerry naturally but apparently his source dried up when he introduced them to Jimmy Price in South Africa who promptly bought the lot for the GT40 they build out there.....

So, not as easy to find new as they once were!

Guy, I got caught on when I bought a set of these rear lenses!!! Luckily I picked up a pair of bodies to go with them for pennies off ebay.

I managed to get a pair of new rear lamps to replace mine from Omicron, and they had several in stock when I was over there (but that was a couple of yers ago), but worth a phone call if your desperate.

Not sure if this has been discussed before, but it could be a good idea to keep a record of ebay names against SEC and/or regular Forum visitors.

This would at least ensure that we don't bid against each other accidentally.

Not sure where the best place to store the info is though.

Just an idea.

Sounds like a good idea Tim - how about a sticky in the buy and sell section? I don't bother with an ebay pseudonym!

Good idea in principle but I'm not sure I want my eBay identity exposed to the public at large. Yet another reason to consider the forum and its place in the club.

my sentiments exactly Peter.

A guest to this forum can see the following info about ANY member:

Forum user name
Real name
Location
Occupation
Aim or MSN username etc.

I do not feel happy to give out Ebay account names as well to an open area.

Will try and speak to Dave Watson to see what can be done.
