That car looks nice, except for the paint. It has the scocca previous to mine 130, mine being 131, nice.

I almost built my car as a replica of that car having been in negotiations to buy the number plate BUC311T that was on a VW I chased around Liverpool. All came to nothing when I acquired PFY3T on my donor which was a bit of a coincidence seeing as my own Beta at the time was PFY2T....

Why Tryphon, what's wrong with the paint?.

The car is painted in the standard (orangy) red, but doesn't look it in these photos. I'm guessing that's what Tryphon means, but I might be wrong?

I can't believe how little he must have used it. I remember reading the article when it came out, but it really must have been a special occasions car!.

Mine had 34000km when I bought it. However with these cars low mileage is more of a drawback than anything else.
Regarding the color/paintjob yes it is/looks like the original color just redone. Otherwise and from the pictures posted (missing engine compartment where most of the mess is usually to be found) it looks really good.
