Thermostat hose

Can anyone recommend a suitable hose for the Alfa V6 12v top thermostat connection. It's approx 35mm at the housing and the pipework it connects to is approx 31mm. I fitted an Astra van hose last year and found a small hole on my return from Stoneleigh. I know I could ask at a motorfactors but I thought I'd see if anybody had a certain vehicle to ask for as they always look a bit lost when you tell them what it's for!.

I use a Capri OHC bottom hose , necks down a treat

Thanks for that - is that a Capri bottom radiator hose?. You don't know what Mk do you?!.

I bought a Samco silicon hose 90 degree with reduction from 35mm down to 32mm. (from memory) Got it from Demon Thieves

Thanks for that Matt, managed to find a helpful chap at my local motorfactors (turned out he was a Lancia nut!) and a BMW 6 Series, 6 cylinder bottom hose seems to have done the job. I had to cut a section off but there's no signs of a leak - yet!.
