There is much talk about cabin heat from the cooling pipes running through the centre spine. Having never looked closely at an original Strat, is it true that there are removable panels under the spine to gain acsess to the pipework etc. So if the Hawk has the same torsional rigidity as an original Strat would it be possible to cut away a section of the spine to allow some cooling. Just a silly thought while I was waiting for my tea :)

I spent a pleasant couple of hours driving my car last Saturday, which was a nice warm, sunny day. I wasn't troubled by excess heat in the cabin. I never broke into a sweat or felt uncomfortable.

I was wearing a t-shirt and I had the windows up, plus I cannot shut off my heater matrix as I have not got round to fitting a heater control/bypass valve yet.

The only fly in the ointment was that I left my sunglasses in my everyday car...
