A while ago the club invested some of it's funds in Beta donor parts as these are becoming increasingly hard to find. Many Beta owners have broken cars over the years and kept stuff we need and this saves us the hassle of stripping cars.... At the moment I have one set of Beta parts available to any club member at cost (£50) plus postage (expensive!) If anyone else has similar sets they want to pass on to the club just send me details and the club will buy them for future members. This may also save the odd Beta here and there, rare cars getting rarer, when was the last time you saw one on the road?
Anyway, the parts in question are the gearlever and relevant linkage and selector parts, handbrake, rod and pulley, two front suspension top mounts, two front four stud hubs (including carriers - you dismantle) and a pair of complete driveshafts ready for stripping and rebuilding with new boots and grease. There is also a Beta steering column and intermediate shaft plus ignition switch/key although I think the intermediate shaft will need shortening. Sorry, no glovebox locks!
The club also has a few other Beta parts as listed above, not a full set, contact me for specifics if you don't want the full set.
If anyone outside the club wishes to buy then the price is £62, but this includes free membership!!
Contact me through the forum or direct if you have my email address.

I'm currently breaking a Beta as a spares car for my HPE. So I should have some parts available if you are interested. I'll make certain I keep all of the stuff you have mentioned (I'll be keeping as much as I can, so...).

Thanks Duncan, if it's a series one Beta can you keep the glovebox lock and key plus the chrome dome mirrors as well. There are a few people looking for them. A thanks for keeping at least one Beta going!

Sorry, it's series 2. So nasty plastic mirrors, and no lock on the glovebox. :( Still, some of the other bits might come in handy.

I've still got a new Beta twin rubber block engine mount (from EVO Engineering) if anyone wants one.

Chris,
I'm sure we've talked about the engine mount before - can you post a picture or describe it?
Similarly I have a collection of Beta parts which have come from my own spares cars - I still use my VX coupe daily - and can lay my hands on pretty much anything you'd need for Strat replicas, but no S1 beta glovebox locks or suspension top mounts!!
I would repeat my request that if people are breaking a Beta for 'bits' don't junk it without asking around us 'betanuts' if we want the rest;)

It's a flat oblong plate with two, erm, rombus cube like rubber blocks on either end. The blocks rise up in the middle with a mounting plate on each block with two holes.

It's the engine mount that goes under the pullies and cam belt end of the engine (the front?).

That's the part but there should be a second piece. Just a plate with a rubber pad that sits on teh top of the subframe/chassis to stop the engine support bouncing on the chassis rail - quite important this piece!

All I have is the bit as seen in Jeff's photo.

It IS new though, and unused.
