Does anyone know a part no for the belts used on the volumex for the supercharger? I bought a standard one from the local motor factors and it's way too big.
Any ideas?

I'll have a look at the one I've got and let you know, I know it's not standard as the tensioner has been modiffied by Sando. I'll take a photo of the setup as well.

Hiya
Have you got it running again yet Brent?
It's a Standard industrial belt from any Bearing / Gear suppliers. Textrope is a popular brand. If you find their website you may be to decipher the belt reference.
345 poss the length?, I cant remember if the L is the width or the teeth Pitch. I think its the width - 1".
Pitch was imperial too. Same as standard Ford pulley at 3/8" rings a bell.
Same as the type used by Pace for dry sump kits though, they put me on to it. They're not as thick as an Automotive belts, so I changed it every 3000 miles as a precaution but it showed very little signs of wear. At around £10 it was well worth it. The Standard belt runs (or would have at one time) the Aircon pump as well that's why it's longer.
The adjuster shown in Brent's pic above is a Cosworth Cam belt tensioner. Easy to get hold of second hand or new from Burton and just needs a bracket making, has lips on the edge too so keeps the belt in place. Nice and simple with just an offset mounting hole in the middle.
Hope that helps
Rob
PS....Just thought
Guy Croft will sell you an expensive thicker Automotive one for use with the standard pulleys without the Aircon, he doesn't like the industrial ones, but thats understandable if he doesn't sell them. The standard tensioner without sides on the belts are prone to coming off too. GC did the tensioners new too, but if you change the gearing as I did you need to have the option of different sizes, and I wanted best reliability.
