Anybody out there making exhausts for the Alfa set up in the same spec as Gerry`s but cheaper. His is no doubt a quality item but the price ???.
I have seen the name Graham Bates mentioned in many threads, how does one get in touch with him, I tried to e-mail him with no luck. Does he still make the quircky bits & pieces for the Stratos..

Dave, There's a fair few exhaust fabricators around. I spoke to a guy at OJZ engineering Ltd (http://www.ojzengineering.co.uk/html/home.htm) @ Notts last year and he seemed reasonably priced. Catwhiskers also mentioned a fabricator in the Notts area as well. It will be interesting to see what your thread bring back....

Dave,
You should be able to get hold of Graham on 01256 862001 (Workshop) or 07831 225437 (Mobile). He doesn't make exhausts, but he does still make a lot of bits for the replica.
Cheers,
Chris

I think almost any specialist can make a custom sysytem for Stratos Replicas cheaper than Gerry sells them for. I know Carlsberg got a superb system built on his car at Macclesfield at reasonable cost. Chris?

It probably would, David. Might be worth a try. I'll ask Lionel if there are any in stock. Napiersport website and email are inoperative at the moment due to some problem with ISP's.
If anyone wants Lionel for any reason or other then best to phone, or post on here so I can try and deal with it.

Ian at Blueflame built me a grp 4 rep system out of stainless with modded TVR carbon cans for £350 it moted but was borderline for some trackdays (112 decibells down hanger straight was mentioned) but u know u got a v6 in it he will fit decebell busters for a little extra (pictures in my gallery)

Is it true a Hawk system of down pipes and silencer will set you back £1500!!
If so what a marketing man Gerry is. Wonder how many they sell

Paid about a grand for my hawk exhaust a few years ago. Not been used and a good chance it won't be. Anybody want it?

Hi there all, just to correct some comments about my exhaust.
The exhaust was made by JP Exhausts in macclesfield.
DO NOT Go to TUBE TORQUE very unreliable and more expensive than JP.
JP made the new manifolds to my design (more Torque) and the silencers
all of which were SVA acceptable fitted to the car in stainless steel for £700
I can supply JP number if required.
since then i have had 2 further exhaust silencers made, same as the works originals in stainless with the same sound for £200 fitted
regards

Chris, Are you talking Alfa V6 12V or 24V? Did they require a design from you? If so, have you kept it? I assume these (http://www.jpexhausts.co.uk/index.html) are the poeple?
