Nothing exotic I'm afraid Bob. A Suzuki Swift in the 1400cc class :o

Afraid I dont have deep enough pockets to be up with the big boys. :)

Andy,
Dont think there will be much happening Saturday morning. Scrutineering doesn't open until 2pm. First car leaves start at 6.30pm. (historics only).
All the main action is on Sunday.

Yes, so did I. Parked very high on a bank.
Hope you all enjoyed the day. I went on to Clipstone from there. Much more mileage and varying terrain. Like the level crossings!!! ;) ;)

That'll be me then!. Bit pushed for time and the grass didn't look too steep 'til I look over at my girlfriend in the other seat and realised I was looking up at her!.

Top day out though.

Did anyone see this car (see pic.) next to the Vodka Kick service awning?

It's Steve's road car. Sourced from Switzerland. A few odd things on it like leather dash, odd boot lock, comp fuel tanks.

Lovely though.

I guessed it was probably Steve's car for road use Bob.

I remember seeing it for sale on the net. It also has window lock wheels like a replica rather than with the Fiat Dino chrome parts. The interior door handles have been substituted with some other black coloured handles and the driver's side window is plastic. But you're right, it is a very very nice car. It's nearly ten years since I've seen a Stradale close up.

Doh!
'Should have stopped there?
The Tiger was highly entertaining coming out of the bottom corner though. All that power and an under developed chassis. Talk about oversteer?!

Yeah, Did it turn completely sideways?

Chris J
March 18th, 2007, 12:34 AM
It was ok through the corner, but sideways up the straight with the back end trying to overtake the front, non stop. I'll bet he was worn out by the end of the day? It was Patrick Watts driving. Ex Touring Car driver.
