Turnkey Hawk Cars

Hi , I wondered if anyone could give me any advice on the cost of buying a ready built turnkey Hawk Stratos car, I have looked at the Hawk site but I can't see any info about buying fully built cars, if Hawk don't sell turnkey cars could anyone offer any advice on who might offer a building service ?

Also is this site the best place to find used cars, as there don't seem to be many that come up for sale is there anywhere else that I should look ?

Try Emailing Hawk Cars directly or Contact Chris Smith at 07811 625027. Chris has built numerous Hawk Stratos replicas for clients in the past.

As John states, Gerry @ Hawk will build you a Strat to what ever spec you request = cost!! Chris Smith in the Midlands is also a good source who also specialises in building Strats. Call them both and decide!!!
As for the best site to find a second hand one....Pistonheads? Build one is best, it's fun!

Hi FRM70, There were three complete or almost Hawks for sale in this forum in the last week. I belive they were actually posted on Piston heads.com.

This would be FAR cheaper (and quicker) than ordering a turnkey from Gerry at Hawk cars.

I am not trying to take sales away from Hawk, just letting you know that there are alternatives out there right now.

Thanks for the replies fella's, I have had a good chat with John Whalley & Gerry @ Hawk and they were very helpfull, I will contact Chris Smith and have a chat with him aswell, I'm very tempted to have one built to my exact spec but £40k+ may be a little to much for me at the moment, I will consider the other option of waiting for a good used example to come up for sale and then maybe spend some on that to change it to my preference.

If anyone knows of a good car coming up for sale please could you let me know, i'm on frmorris@googlemail.com
