Wasn't stopping for anything, red lights included. Must have been done early in the morning.

It is, of course, the short film C'était un Rendezvous made by ther French director Claude Lelouch in 1976. The car was supposable a Ferrari 275 GTB with a Formula 1 driver at the wheel. The DVD is available from a number of sources. http://www.rendezvousdvd.com/ has all the info on it.

The car was a lowly Mercedes 280. The sound recording was edited.

I did think that myself Tryphon, He was still flat out while braking and circulating the Arc de triomphe. :)
