Heat shield

I have found a piece of shiny ( mirror / chrome like ) sheet metal.

-Would that be ok to make a heat shield of?

-Has anyone pictures of a Hawk heat shield?

-Is there any kind of insulation between the heat shield and body work?

Pim, Mine's a Gerry supplied item made of stainless. I believe there's no need for insulation just mount it with some panel clearance. Pics below:

Thanks guys, looking at the pictures there's no need for welding the seems , just make a card board mold and bent the sheet metal :)
