Just ordered one today for the 24V engine from EB Spares - a little over £100 plus VAT and post. Don't think you'll get one cheaper unless used.
Bought a used one a month ago for £25 - doesn't work  so complete waste of money unless I can get the place to believe me and take it back for refund.
I've been looking at my 2003 copy of ePER. Apart from one or two rare models, there seem to be onlty two parts in use:
60560715 for almost all 24V engines, incl QV, 3 litre 12V RHD
60513208 for 2 litre V6 Turbo, 2 litre twinspark and 3 litre 12V LHD
This makes me think we need the same part and EB Spares took my order today so I'm confused. Can't understand why the LHD and RHD 12V engines have a different part listed but ePER has been known to have errors.
If anybody can make sense of this please let me know. Meanwhile Dave, what are the last 8 digits of your Alfa donor VIN? I'll try to look it up properly.

Dave try Desira at Norfolk they are very helpful. 01603 622 222 (John I think it was in the Parts dept)
May not be exactly the same for your 12v but I got a 24v GTA one from them at list price around half what you have been quoted so far. For some reason that particular one was much cheaper and fitted my set up ok. If remember right the others were around £80-£90 but I may be mistaken as it was about a year ago. The good thing is that they are prepared to talk to you about alternative parts if you already have part numbers and not just the usual can't help unless you have the chassis number.
Theres not a lot to go wrong in them unless they get damaged. Suspect bad connections/sheilding and most importantly routing before spending your money.......guess how I know :) six inches made all the difference
Hope that helps
Rob
PS Alfa Spares at Liverpool 0151 944 2882 have also been ok to deal with in the past.

Thanks Mudhut, Not sure if I can give you VIN, but have engine No. if that's any use: AR064 10003671.
I was given (eper) print off, of parts listed, when I enquired at Alfa Dealership, which has part no. 60513208 identified.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

Here's my ePER output based on Alfa164 1987-92, 3 litre and your engine number 10003671. If you have the last eight digits of the chassis number it is better but you might not know the donor car at all I suppose.
Note both part numbers. Your engine is M3 (3.0 V6 ECE) I think. The other two are M4 a USA variant and M5 the Cloverleaf. GS is LHD and GD is RHD.
If 60513208 is the correct part, then at least you have a wider choice of donors to include the twinspark 2.0 litre cars.
ePER below (sorry it's so small - can mail bigger to you if you want it):

I had no issue getting hold of one of these from my local Auto Factors for as they could supply them for 12v or 24v 3 ltr Alfa engines.
Take your engine number, with you as you need to know if its 06410 or 06412 - I'm not sure theres even any difference between the CTS's but they do ask.
Manufacturer: InterMotor
P/N for 12v 18823
Cost inc VAT £54.39
Not sure of the cost & P/N of the 24v version but they were definately available.
I have one in my car and it runs perfectly.
