Had a bad start to the new year, discovered I've got a kettle with leaks. Was setting up the carbs(2x40 Dellortos) to get somewhere close on emissions, when it cooked up after 20 minutes. Worst it split the top of the expansion tank as well as pouring water out of my home made heater box (mini core) and the temp gauge didn't work. Anybody got a used Beta expansion tank lying about ,cant locate a new one from usual sources or is there a plastic alternative?,don't fancy shelling out £95 for fancy ali one. DavidM

Allen, doesn't look like my split one which is squarer and flatter and came off a Beta coupe. John, does the Monte one have similar hose take offs eg one large feed to bottom hose one small feed to rad and one small overflow ?I can get a new plastic Monte type (not OEM)from the Monte Hospital for £22 but I wasnt sure it would do the job. Does anyone have a beta expansion tank that do not require? If so I have a need for one.

Please PM me if you have one you'd like to sell.

Cheers
