the fuel pump for the alfa V6 needs to be at least 4bar (60psi), but I can't find figures for flow rate. Any offers?

The standard regulator on my 24V V6 is set at about 3.5bar so the pump is going to be loaded from a minimum of 2.5bar (closed throttle) to a max of 3.5bar. I made the mistake of upgrading from a small Facet pump which was rated at 160 litre/hr to a big Bosch unit (probably 250 l/hr) when I was having fuel overheating problems and the additional flow only made things worse! Pumping fuel around a hot engine bay only serves to warm the fuel up more! I never had any obvious flow or pickup problems with the small pump and it is quieter too, although it is less efficient and uses a bit more current for a given pressure.

Thanks David. The 24v manual says the regulator should open at 4 bar. I'll go with your flow rates since you've had no starvation problems.
