Wilwood have released there version of a handbrake facility. It amounts to a cast iron bell with an internal drum brake with the aftermarket disc bolting to the bell in the usual manner. Any thoughts??

An interesting solution (http://www.wilwood.com/featured6.html) considering the alternatives. What's the benefits over fitting a seperate H/B caliper?

I'm working with Wilwood to come up with a solution at the moment and will have the parts fitted in the next two weeks, I will keep you posted. They may have a caliper with integral handbrake

Dave,
Please keep us all posted. I'm on the lookout for a suitable handbrake caliper.

According to Willwood:
Internal Shoe Parking Brake
• Cable actuated internal shoe assemblies generate superior holding power. The complete assembly is neatly hidden inside the rotor hat for a clean and uncluttered installation.
• Factory pre-assembled backing plates with shoes are spring loaded for positive release and rattle free operation.
