Alfa differential splines

My transfer shaft won't mate into the differential. The gearbox is a 24v manual, but the engine came from an automatic - can anyone confirm that they have different splines, or tell me what I need to know to source one that matches?:confused:

Yes, you are absolutely correct. The manual transaxle utilizes a different intermediate shaft, the spline count is different. So, just source an intermediate shaft from a 5-speed.
