Hi All:Anybody happen to have a spare roof vent to sell before I ring Gerry, also looking for a Beta handbrake lever & one driveshaft. A bare shaft will do because I`ve got recon inner & outer joints to fit...

I can get you one by early next week.
£40 plus postage, I think. (not had one done for a month or two and my memory's going!)
It's just the moulding with flange incorporated. No mesh.

The roof profiles of Hawk and Corse are rumoured to be slightly different - has anybody checked to see if the roof vents are interchangeable?

Chris,
I would think that is very marginal if any. Can check soon though because I will be seeing Carlsberg about his lamp-pod.
I think the roof scoops need bedding on in both cases, and this would take up any discrepancy. Will check it out anyhow.

Didn`t finish the last thread,  something strange happened to my p.c, anyway just to say that I found a roof vent but it would still be interesting to know if there is any difference in a Hawk or Corse`s roof :)

They will both fit no probs, but will need a bed-in.

John,

I'll take the roof vent.

Mark,
You definitely want one? I have to order it so will probably be next week. Guess you are in a perfect position to let us know if it fits both cars?!
Which one is it actually for?

Sure thing, Mr Hanlon.
How's the re-build going?
Nice to meet you at the NEC.Judging by what you had on show there, I think we can look forward to an immaculate example of the Allora in the future!

Hi John

nice to see you and Lionel at the NEC - and thanks for the vote of confidence on our stand !! - shame we didn't have longer to natter

the engine and gearbox are out and away for mild tuning and a rebuild - I will start the car with a vengeance in the new year, but, meantime I have been collecting replacement parts and establishing contacts

if you let me know the postage I will send you a cheque - I have your address on file

hope to see you guys again soon - in the meantime take care

Johnny H

OK John, will do.
And by the way, I have had it confirmed that these mouldings do fit the Transformer cars and Hawks too.
