I built in 4 cibie Turini fog lamps ( wide beam ) in my lamp pod, they are a little bigger ( 21 cm diam. ) than the Carello's, but got them at a reasonable price.
I am looking to change the middle fog lamps with 2 Cibie Turini driving lights ( point beam ).
Does anyone have 2 of these driving lights for sale or maybe exchange with 2 of my fog lights. I only need the lamp, not the mounting ring for i built in the mounting clips on the inside of the pod.
Or maybe someone has a good adres for buying two of these Cibie Turini Pod driving lights, they are hard to get in Holand :(

Gave looking for the Turini's so i bought Cibie Oscar reolacement units, same lamp different glass.
Now i have two possibilities to fit them, or maybe someone else has a better idea??
I could try to take of the glas from the Oscar and the Turini and exchange them. They are gleud with some kind of kit,
Anyonr have experience with removing the glas, maybe with a surgeons knife of somekind? And what kit should i use to gleu them back on?
Second possibility is to detach the Turini's mountings and fit them to the Oscars. This would be tricky for i don't think welding is good fot the lamps mirri and glas,
Any idea's please :o

You could try making mounts and using a modern glue to attach to the lamp shell,
I used a liquid metal of some sort to mount a filler ring on a fuel tank once with no problems. Cant see why it wont work here.

The urethane sealers are good for glueing this sort of thing. Car Builder Solutions do them http://www.nfauto.co.uk/poly_sealant.htm

Thanks Stephen, good idea, i think i will make a mounting ring around the lamp on which i put the plastic snap on bracket ( shown in the second picture ). This gives more surface to put the adhesive on.
Thanks Chrris, i'll look for the adhesive you mentioned.
Another problem solved :)
Cheers

Made a mounting ring and fitted it to the lammmmp with two component metal epoxy. Lamps now fitted to the lamp pod. Another job done, thanks for your tips :)
