I'm sure this has been covered before, so my apologies for any duplication. I'm really giving serious thought to a Corse with a 2litre beta which I may swap for a 24v Cloverleaf that I have. Can you guys tell if this is relatively easy to do, and who are the owners that have done it?

Chris Savage just upgraded his Corse from a Beta to a 12v Alfa earlier this year. He might be able to what's involved, and what to watch out for.

I presume we are talking about the "S" chassis Corse not the "I"? The chassis will accomodate a 12v alfa engine with only minor modification. I think Chris Savage had to relocate the tubes which run from the top strut mounts to the side pontoons. Not too difficult for anyone reasonably competent with a Mig set.
I think the 24v engine is likely to be more difficult and to the best of my knowledge has not been done previously. Those extra camwheels are bound to catch on something. Maybe not though. you may well have to play around with different locations for alternator etc. but that is not the end of the world.
Anyone know any better?

Thanks Guys.
Yes, the chassis is an 'S' with the strut rear.
Marmott, I'll give you a call. Have you done a 24V?
