After the daydreams of our fantasy cars, back to the grubby-fingered variety.
I'm working out where to put a balance pipe on my V6 exhaust, to carry the Lambda probe. The easiest place would be where the two pipes come over the lower transverse chassis member, but it wouldn't be equi-distant from the two banks of cylinders. Does this matter from a scavenging or Lambda point of view? Was that why the originals had the long primaries on the rear bank of cylinders that looped round the outside of the left hand diagonal chassis? I've got the 164 downpipes ready to be cut (£380 if you had to buy them new! Ow!) and plan to graft them on to the Hawk Beta system.
