That will be Andy Burton's, i believe he still owns the car. He now runs the equally awesome 'Peugeot Cosworth' with its mid-mounted engine and i mean mid-mounted, not just plonked over the back wheels!, it is mounted exactly between the front and rear axles right behind the 2 seats and virtually sits on the floor giving the car perfect balance with a low centre of gravity. If you look at the car with the back off, you will still struggle to spot the engine! which is an ex DTM 2.5 Vauxhall/Opel motor.
This is the type of car the MSA (bless them!) are trying to outlaw yet it's the type of car that draws in the crowd!!
If you get the chance to see and hear this car - do so! - this is one of the cars that is currently 'wowing' the crowds, just like the Stratos did all those years ago and, if you go to the Wyedean Stages where every stage is within the confines of the Forest of Dean, you can hear the car on practically every stage!!! :)

It must spin like a top! How do you stop it?

Engine fires usually do the trick :D :D

No seriously, if the car is reliable during an event then it generally wins. Andy Burton is a very good driver who sticks by his hybrid cars. Its a shame that they wont let him run in the Wales GB Rally because he would give some of the works cars a run for their money. Not sure it would last the 4 days though :(

You Will Hear The Car 2 Mins Befor You See It. He Told me He Was Going To Bring It Out And Do A Few Sprints With It But The Cost Of The Rebuild Was To Much At The Moment But He Did Tell Me We Haven't Seen The Last Of It I Also Have Some Pics Of It I'll Try And Post Them But At The Mo Im Not Geting Any Joy Posting On The Site

Hi Phill
I'd love to see the pics, I remember hearing and then seeing him in the Alfa/Ferrari through Clipstone too. :)

I think Dave is aware of the main gallery problem.

If you can make them smaller and a file no more than 100kb you should be to place them here in the thread using the manage attachments button, once you are in the Reply page.
Hope that helps
