Hi all saw this Alfa 164 on an Alfa 164 website, they call it the 164 Procar. Does anyone know about this car, it looks like a Formula 1 engine in the back :)

If I remember correctly Alfa developed this unit as a prospective customer engine for F1. I don't think there were any takers so this 164 was built to claw back some good publicity from what was otherwise a waste of time and money.

My understanding is that Alfa developed this car for the prospective ProCar racing series that never materialized.
