I wanted to install my cluch slave but there's something between the clutch lines and i don't know what it is and if i need to install it as well? See pic
What diameter of brake lines do you guys use ( i have alfa callipers and tilton master cilinders )?
Same question for the cluch lines ( Alfa master and slave cil )?

This is the restrictor. It stops you from "dumping" the clutch pedal and causing a high load on the transmission as the 164 is a heavy car. It has the effect of allowing the clutch pedal to come up quite slowly as you release it - weird. On the first 164 I went to see, I thought there was something wrong with the clutch. :o
Some 164 owners have removed it and the car is fine provided you don't abuse the transmission. On the Stratos, I'd say it has no place at all and should be left out.

Brake lines 3/16",
clutch can be 3/16" or 1/4"
Bin the clutch thing.

That's the tubing. The connectors are 10mm X 1 from memory.

3/16 would be a bit smaller then 5mm i suppose, i will go for 5 mm then.
Has someone got pictures how the rear flexible brake line should run?
