Has anyone got a set of peddles for an HF2000, mine have been modified by one for the previous owners with to many mod’s to put right. I would like to return to the original setup with the clutch master cylinder under the dash.

The original setup was a cable clutch, wasn't it?

Yes but there is a bracket on the chassis to mount the master cylinder and the gearbox has been modified to take the slave cylinder. This was an option from Hawk Cars (may have been Tranformer at the time 1990 ish) I think it’s same on the HF3000.

John Brewer (JohnBSPY8808053) has a set of pedals out of a right hand drive HF2000 here in the 'States. He is converting to left hand drive and a Tilton pedal box, so eventually won't be needing them.

I had talked to him about getting his pedals for my car. I only wanted the throttle pedal, since I wasn't sure I'd be happy with the bottom hinged throttle in the later HF3000's. The current pedal interferes pretty severely with the center tunnel in a left hand drive car, and I thought it might be easier to fit an old top hinged pedal.

Sounds like you might make better use of them. If John doesn't see this thread himself and reply, you might send him an e-mail.

Cheers,

Scott

You guys can have the parts as soon as I get them out of the car. Hopefully that won't be too much longer. I told Scott he could have them first but If he doesn't want them then, you're next in line. I'll be in touch as soon as I make some more progress.

Ciao,

John B.

PS - I also have a RHD Stradale dash, tunnel pieces and a non-sloped rear bulkhead cover that need a good home - they're free but whoever wants them has to pay the shipping. The dash and tunnel probably wouldn't be too bad but the bulkhead's kinda' big. Of course, there's no reason they have to stay together.

Thanks John

I think Scott only wanted the throtle peddle, and I only need the brake and clutch peddle. Should work out well.
