Can anyone tell me which tank sender I need. The tank has a hole 40mm dia with 5x M5 bolts set on a PCD of approx 55mm (but the spacing between them is out).

The obvious I'm afraid! Try Gerry as he supplies them with the wire modified to give the correct readings on the Vaguelier gauge (but it doesn't reach to the bottom of the tank so there is a "reserve")

Thanks Guy, I'll give Gerry a call.
Out of interest should the bolt holes be equally spaced or is my tank wrong?

Absolutely no idea! Car is way up in the air above the Spider although I may have it out tomorrow! If I do I'll try to remember to look.

No, they're unevenly spaced. Looks odd and I can't work out why it should be.

Well, I can allways take the tank with me to Hawk and have a trial fit. Thanks for looking Chris.
Anyone with a spare one going to Abingdon? :)

Thanks Peter
Merlin Motorsport also offer the VDO dip tube sender.
Can anyone confirm that the Hawk tanks use the VDO sender?

I've still got a reel of the dip tube wire somewhere if anyone needs some to repair/modify a sender. I recall it's something like 320 ohm/ft.
