This is what happens when you put it straight off on a 90 into a French freshly ploughed field.
The radiator was ripped off the mountings and actually sheared the hoses, and then went up through the bonnet
Thanks to the sump guard which braces the suspension pick up points also, we did not even need to re track the car!
Bad brusing to shoulders and groin for both co pilot and self, fortunately we had aircraft buckles and 3" belts , so getting out when it all hurts was easier.
To add insult this was on stage 1 of 16 , approx 5 miles into a 2 day French national rally!!!!!!!!
We went back the following year and took first in class..... Yo!
