I start with a standard boot this one being a ztec s boot first its stripped of everthing even the glass

Then a plate is made and seam welded in to the area to be filled. The plate is painted with zink etch primer to stop rust

http://img240.imageshack.us/img240/9831/weldin4zp.jpg

Then only the best filler and products are used to smooth out any dents or bumps in the panel

The boot is then primed and glass refitted all that needs doing is for any trim or wires to be reconnected.

It would be more useful to readers of this forum if you indicated which X19 parts you have, and left out the advert for chav-style bodywork mods that are most definitely not applicable to the Stratos...

If you have X19 switches, they could well be of interest.

I could do with replacing the switches in my Stratos replica.

Would need the up/down headlamp switch, fog lamp switch, heater fan switch and maybe interior lamp switch. Also the simple surrounds that the switches clip into.

If you have these available, could you post pictures as well as asking price?

Also, do you have the 'fibre optic' lighting for these switches?

These are the X19 bits that are of use to Stratos people.
Headlights, headlight trim rings and mounting nest (but not the pods). Headlamp motors and adjustor rods if not seized solid.
Overcentre roof catches plus the latch plates they clip onto.
Matching sets of door handles/boot/engine cover release levers WITH keys.
Steering column with ignition lock and key. Door lock mechanisms and body catches.
Radiator if good, fans no use.
Switches from the 1300 model, the black rocker type complete with surrounds. Column stalks from 1300. Stainless steel expansion tank.
Choke lever knobs from 1300 - found by the handbrake.
If I've missed anything I'm sure someone else will add to the list. The rest is junk to us!
Cheers

Thanks for providing the photos. Unfortunately the switches are of the wrong sort for use in the Stratos kits. But looks like you may have a buyer for the locks...
