My car is nearly finished (11 months since delivery) just a bit of trim and the windscreen to fit and as its almost 100% new build, I'd like to find someplace to test it,bed in the brakes etc prior to going for SVA. Anybody know any good places within an hour or twos trailer of Great Yarmouth in Norfolk ( can't use the obvious Snetterton as I have'nt got an MSA licence). Only one I found on the net was Rallydrive in Lincolnshire anybody used them?

Have a look at the Javelin Motorsport web site as they hold track days at Cadwell Park and various other venues.

Well funny you should mention this venue David. ;)
I actually called in for a look around last week. While I havent used it yet, I plan to have a day up there during the coming few weeks. They have a gravel stage, a skid pan training facility and a 1.5 mile tarmac circuit which is smooth and looks like it has plenty of run off.
To use the tarmac circuit for the day is £45+VAT. :) Not sure how much for the gravel, I wasnt thinking of using that anyway. Thats midweek. The only days they dont open are Sunday & Monday. I think they said that weekends were a bit more money but not that much more. You only need to give a couple of days notice unless you want exclusive use (which is of course more money)
Obviously indemnities have to be signed but no mention of a noise limit. Other good thing is you can take passengers or more than one driver, you only pay for the car.
Blimey, I'm looking forward to it even more now. :D
Let me know what you decide. Could be a good opportunity to meet up and compare.
