Passed my MOT today, now road legal - yeeehaaa!!!!!! :D

Token failure on headlamp adjustment - easily fixed while the tester looked at other bits. Had been through 2 washer pumps in the previous 24 hours, so 'fessed up to not having a working one, just fitted the one he produced out of the store. :) We found 3 bolts I'd forgotten to torque up on the suspension  which he fixed as he went along.("I'f you wanted me to build the f***in' thing, you should have booked it in properly" he said) Because of the LSD, the brakes couldn't be tested on the rollers, so he climbed in the space where the passenger seat isn't, with an accellerometer (decellerometer?), went for a 50m drive involving 2 stops, one on the footbrake and one on the handbrake, and that was it!! :) Result!
Drive home was more relaxing than the drive there, but didn't use more than a third throttle or 3500 revs. Whee! First time I've driven RWD with an LSD (previously FWD and 4WD) The back and wiggles a bit with some welly, doesn't it?
So, just door seals, rear window, navigator seat and equipment and I think I'm there. Plus the shrouding for the radiator, and the lamp pod to finish. Oh yes, and get all 4 wheels pointing the right direction, make the brakes lock the wheels, and........well, they're never finished, are they?
First public outing will be the Lancia Motor Club meeting in Melrose in a weeks time. Are you going Mr Foster?

I dunno, I used to have cylinder envy when I was running the TC, now I've fitted a 12V V6 and everyone is going 24V, I'll be getting valve envy next.....

...only one cure, I need to get that blower installed ;)

Good job Chris.

Stuart, I can only make the Friday evening. School holidays mean we're away after that. Missing Charterhall on Saturday too, which I'd intended to be my first rally, but the MSA logbook is going to take a bit longer to crack.
