I received the club's newsletter and would like to thank you for that.
Very well made and interesting, I admire the amount of work involved.
Just one remark relative the the press clipping presenting the original alongside the replica:
One popular misconception (which is also mentionned in that article) is that Lancia made Stradales and competition cars. That is not true, the number of Stratos produced INCLUDES the stradales and Gr.4 cars. Lancia were in fact reserving a number of chassis completed by Bertone with roof and anciliaries and modified them to Gr.4 specs.
As the chassis work required to meet the Gr.4 homologation specification is very limited a Stradale chassis is "upgraded" in less than 2 hours (more work is involved for Safari spec).
