Well Steve Perez bought the Stratos home 6th overall in the 'Post Historic' section of todays rally and 5th in class.
What beat him? 5 Escorts of course. Dont know if he had any problems but he was going well through Blidworth and Theives wood.
Does anyone know if its possible to load a video clip onto here? I filmed him in Theives wood.

Took one pic myself at clipstone, nicely catching a very large puff of blue smoke from the rear(of the stratos) I need to upload it from my batphone at some point.

Well you could do worse Stephen, especially with the weather. I cant think of any reason why you'd want to live up there in the first place.
Although you are closer to Mull. ;)
Oh yes and you have some of the best distilleries on your doorstep. :D
I suppose you have some fantastic scenery too. :)
And you have your own parlaiment. :)
And I believe thet House price gazumping is illegal.
Come to think of it, what are we doing down here? Good job we have lots of forest rallies.
Mick :p

I see what you mean from the photo's Phill. That was a cloud of smoke. John (strat6v) also commented on the smoke in Blidworth but when he passed us in Theives wood, there was no sign of smoke at all and it sounded very crisp too. The engine would probably prefer to run on 30 year old original oil though
Wish I could post a video clip with the sound on it.

Steve also shaved the teeth off one of the last original Gr.4 gearbox shafts in a previous event.

I see in Motorsport News that the engine problem was put down to a faulty valve stem.

Well, think I've finally got the video clip sorted. I've just loaded it onto Google's Video site. If I've done it correctly, it should be live shortly.
