Does a quote of £225.00 fully comp, 5k miles/year, seem competitive? From MSM, by the way.

Just cost me £15 for the engine swap for the remaining 3 months of my policy with MSM. Thought that was pretty good given £10 was admin. (which is fair enough).
From memory, I'm paying just over £300, so renewal will hopefully be about £320. I did set it at an optimistically high value though!
Found MSM very quick and helpful..and they have a sensible policy about immobilisers etc. Flux wouldn't touch my car unless it had a full CAT 1 system (I think it was CAT 1 - the highest standard anyway). As I'd already fitted a suitable system myself when I built it, I really didn't want to spend another £300 having a similar one put in by 'a professional' so it qualified. And they wouldn't let me drive the car to work should I so wish.
