Where the right hand side of the Stradale binnacle and 124 steering column upper cowl meet, does some of either the cowl or binnacle need removing/cutting away? Or should they fit together without any modification?
On the photo attached, I talking about the part just above and left of the ignition key/switch.

Do you want me to have a feel around there (!) tomorrow for any signs of cutting Chris?
I see my car all over the place.

If you get chance Peter, it might help.
I'm trying to find out what the shape of the cut out needs to be on the fascia, where it meets the top half of the column cowl. I need to make sure the column's in the right position with the cowl attached first. I think I've got the steering wheel end too close to the dash, along with the thicker part of the cowl at the moment. I'll probably cover the cowl top the same as your's. I like that little detail.
I've got some other photos of your car that might be useful to others. I ought to put them on the gallery. You can't have too much reference when you're building one?

It's ok, I think I've worked it out now. I've got the column in the right place and the bottom cowl will fit snug without touching anything, and the bottom half of the cowl just needs a tiny bit of the binnacle taking away in the very bottom right corner, just behind where the fascia will be. The fascia will cover it up in any case.
It's stuck me though, that modifiying the binnacle to fit the cowl wouldn't be so easy as it is with the front cut out. And I HAVE got the front cut out. 'Downside of which is that the binnacle gets a bit wobbly at the bottom. I put some brackets in to stop that happening. I'll cover all this in my forthcoming 'How not to fit a Stradale Dash' guide. Unless anyone wants a photo of it now?
