I know that the subject of seats & headroom have been discussed before but can someone tell me how Gerry`s stradale seats mount to the floor, are they fixed or on runners.I have a pair of oldish bucket seats that I am going to modify to fit & without wanting to lower the floor, the combination of the slope & flat floor makes things rather akward & of course leaving enough room between head & roof. Any suggestions or ideas please..

Unless the design has changed in 20 years.... Gerrys Stradale seats are bolted direct to the floor with four bolts from under the floorpan into threaded lugs welded onto the seat frame.

depends on how tall you are and whether you want to wear a crash helmet as well.
I have had to remove the steel runners and put a channel in the floor at the rear of the seats so that I can sit in the car with a helmet on I have used Sparco seats and the side mountings and then made my own fixed runners.
I am only 5ft 7 tall, but I have got a big crash helmet.
