For what it is worth here is my personal list. I own some of these.......

GT40 - just sex on wheels, shapely and beutifully proportioned
289 FIA Cobra - timeless beauty with performance to match
92 Integrale - best rally car ever made
Bugatti Type 35B - unbelievable performance car built 80 years ago
2.8 RSR Porsche - best Porker ever made, looks brutish and goes like stink
Stratos Grp4 - the start of a new era in Rallying
Ferrari 250 GTO - great performance car, the best Ferrari
Porsche Spyder 550A RS - great for doing the shopping
Mustang GT350R - an absolute brutal machine, nothing like horse power
Lotus Exiage Cup 240 - miniature super car

Dont know if I can come up with 10 but top of my list has to be:
1, Ferrari Dino 246GT (not the GTS That always looked a bit clumsy)
2, Ferrari 360 Modena (as Gary says, Sex on Wheels)
3, Lancia Stratos Gp4. Probably the most timeless car design ever
4, Ford GT40 (in Gulf Colours though, of course ;) )
5, Fiat X1/9 (if only they had made a V6 version)Baby ferrari in waiting.
6, Ferrari 330P3/P4 What gorgeous curves, flowing lines, typical Italian flair.
7, De Tomaso pantera GT5S Italian design with Ford V8 grunt
8, BMW Z1 Innovation and beauty at its best
9, Porsche 917 short tail. Screaming round Le Mans. Wow what a spectacle
10, Mazda MX5 Everybodys little supercar.

Had some, will unfortunately never have others mind you, isnt it said somewhere that its better to want something than to actually have it? Suppose thats like the only people who say money isnt everything are the ones who've got it.

Oh well, back to reality.

1. Ferrari 250 swb california spider - remember Ferris Buellers day off?

3. Stratos GP4.- What can i say.
4. Alfa Giulia spider.- all round pretty without a bad line.
5. E type roadster.- customer had one, i couldn't stop looking at that bonnet.
6. Fiat x19.- My wallet is still twitching, next year. Maybe... ;)
7. Toyota Hilux.- awesome vehicle, did you see top gear? Never failed me once. like duracell batteries, went on and on and on, did it get some abuse! :D
8. Healey 3000.- Just think. A quiet lazy sunny afternoon and out for lunch.
9. 427 cobra.- had to make the list!

In no particular order

Lancia Stratos Group 4 (square-arched)
Lancia Rally 037
Lancia Delta Integrale Evoluzione
Opel Manta 400
Ford Escort RS1800 Group 4
Ford Mustang GT500
Ford GT40
Ferrari 330 P3
Alfa Romeo Tipo 33

Almost scary to see as many Fords in that list as Lancias!
But then again, everything on this list is a competition car, and Ford do (did) like Motorsport.

Well, all but one of my old list made it onto this one. :) (Discounting the model year switch on the 'Vette. Same body style, but I must have been in a big-block mood that day.) I did say I'd have a hard time paring the list down. :D

I guess one has dropped out of my list since then Chris!
Still there would be:-
Lancia Aurelia B24 Spyder, Jaguar C Type and Ferrari 250 GTO with the Aston DB4GT Zagato topping the list still. I've dropped the Maserati so that leave six!
The Bentley Continental Coupe, what a shape!
Fiat 500 - just an icon!
Stratos Gp4 obviously (although I'd be afraid to use it!)
Lancia Beta HPE - loved that shape and my first was a beauty, last a dog!
Lancia Fulvia HF1600 Zagato - just a shame it wasn't a double-bubble!
Citroen DS with the faired in headlights. Way ahead of it's time.

But I still reserve the right not to buy any of the above when my lottery ticket comes in next weekend. Then again, I may buy them all and more!

Definitely not in any order.
This list is only the current “snapshot” of the mess going around in my head.
This list is constantly changing.

* Stratos –What’s more to say.

* alfa alfetta gt – Stylish car with timeless design

* Chevrolet Impala SS – Nice fast road-eater for the open highways

* alfa 33 Stradale – Stunning unparalleled design

* Ferrari F40 – Brutal, Beautiful “old School” performer

* Shelby Mustang 350 – Best designed American car to date.
Xtra plus because it uses solid rear axle, drum-brakes and iron lump in front and still kicks ass
with contemporary alfas, porks and Ferraris :D

* Ford GT – Best interpretation of the "real world" to date. Fast new “time-capsule” at a “cheap” price.

* Lotus Super 7 – Performance for pocket change money, which embarrasses the “letter-bunch” (S, M, AMG, R, cars) at a track

* Aston Martin DB 7/9 – The most beautiful Coupes to date and the right one to arrive at the casino,
at the birds nest, at the local pizza, at the local mall, a the…

* de Tomaso Pantera – nice mix of nationalities in that one and also Swedish speed record holder ;)

Fiat 500, Lamborghini Miura, Exige, Cobras, F and A Daytonas ………......... help cant decide really

Note that amongst people who love cars, there are seldom Porks and never SUVs on these kind of lists J
