replica seats?

Hi all,

Went with Nico to Antwerp this week to Guy Moerenhout who is building the Polish corse replica. We went in Nico green car so Guy could have a look at the gear change rods etc.

It was an interesting trip because Guy has many different Abarth cars anf manufactures body shells for them. I will write an article about hte visit for the next newsletter.

Guy showed us some seats ( 400,00 Euro's excl VAT each ) he had made to fit the Stratos, I think they look a lot like the original :confused: The quality of the seats was very good and it sits OK for me.

Whats your opinions on this, how do they compare to the seats Gerry sells?

I think they look spot on.

Gerry's seats are the Stradale type. These that you have illustrated are the like the rally seats, similar in shape to the ones that Sparco used to offer about ten years ago.

What is 400 euros in £s?

You can't compare the two because of the different designs, but they seem to be as good on quality as each other.

It's an interesting photo, that? I've never seen the inside sill of an original Stratos. Quite a different shape to a rep.?

Its not an original car, its a Corse, Guy Moerenhout is building, with the Polish livery. There is a thread in the forum about this kit.

400,00 Euro's is about 280 Pounds I think.

Doh!

I can see it's a Corse from the crossmember on the floor now you say Pim.

I didn't put two and two together there. I think it's the LHD that fooled me?
I DID see it in the other thread.

So about £560 for two seats? Sounds pretty good for a low volume production?

the munari' seats should be the Group 4 Lancia Stratos seats..

I could be interested in a set for my Group 4, now I have 2 modern race seats, I don't like them..
