Hi,
Can any one advise whether these lights are correct or a poor copy?

They are the same as mine (apart from the shiny trim).
These are just lenses, not whole lamps I think?

Allen, don't know about how accurate they are, but they don't look to be 'E' marked, which will be a problem if you need to SVA the car.
Cheers

Yes, they look right, but they seem a bit expensive compared with the ones I got last week -

Thanks guys, it's like having 10 eyes and ears. This build is going to be a cinch, roll on Jan...
Chris - Do "yours" have the 'E' mark? Not wanting to get to personal! Also how much was your P&P please?

Allen

I've got this awful feeling that they don't. I don't know if that's going to be a worry or not? I'll have a look when I get chance.

Postage was 6.35 euros. I haven't got them yet, so can't comment on e-marking. I 've bought them as a spare, and I don't need to SVA, so it doesn't affect me anyway.

It can be down to the discretion of the SVA examiner weather the lens / light has enough intensity, but the E-mark would make him happy.

Might be worth considering removing the shiny trim (by drilling out the rivet) as it can't be seen when installed. Water is retained here by the big black trim and the shiny part rusts - it's not stainless (at least mine isn't).

I think the ones Gerry sells currently are remanufactured one by Aric. I have a spare set (just in case) and they are E marked and SVA compliant. My car has the Altissimo lights and these are also E marked. I've not removed the trim rings from them and don't see any reason to do so.

That's rings a bell, the ones I have now are new/unused and branded 'aric'.
Peter
I didn't realise that the blue car has trims, with them being burried between the outer big black ring and the lense itself. Because of that, it would hardly make a difference (visually) if they were there or not? I understand that original cars had them. Can anyone confirm that?
Ooh, it's getting a bit anoraky again. Watch me, I'll be talking about fonts styles on Veglia guages again!

Just got them today -(had them delivered to work, car stuff attracting too much surveillance at home  )
They are by Altissimo, and are brand new. There is no CE on them, but E3 in a little circle.
