Hi all,
I have seen a pair of Cibie Turini fog lamps ( 200 mms ?) are they okay to use in the Hawk lamp pod?
Best regards,

Hi Pim
I use a pair of Turini Fogs in my pod not sure of the exact diameter at the moment, but they are about 25mm bigger than the usual pod mount lamps or headlamps which are 7" or about 180mm so sound the same at around 200mm.
They only just fit! :) with a lot of grinding away of the pod fibreglass. especially on at the bottom and come very close to the front panel behind. This is why I used them only on the outside as ther seemed more room, but also I thought they would be bettter there with a wide beam to pick up the edges of the road....... Worked great in the tunnels on the monte Run :D
I'll try and find a pic with them close up
cheers

Bobster,
see if you can find any closeup pics of your pod cover. I've got the lamps fitted and the pod moulding tidied up, just need to see how the cover 'butts up' against it.
John.

And for you John boy
here's how I mounted my cover. I made the pod fit so that the cover just goes over the front 'lip' of the body when it is fitted. There seemed to be so many different ways these were fitted originally, that I though this was best for me.
Wrong lenses, wrong way of adjusting, probably the wrong colour mounting springs....but hey... I don't care :)
I like it! :p :D
Rob
PS I've had a drink, so no offense anyone....
