Browsing through a German/English motorsport catalogue, I came across a dvd entitled "The Evolution of Rallying"/"Evolution des Driftwinkels" Is that really what they call it? :D

Not sure about the exact German phraseology, but (according to Babelfish) the literal translation of "drift winkels" is "drift angles".
P.S. Congrats on getting to 2,000 with your next post! :D

"Rallying" and "Driftwinkel" have a totally different meaning.
A "Winkel" is an "angle". "Driftwinkel" is the angle of the car`s centreline against the trajectory when drifting around a curve.

I used to enjoy my Driftwinkel when I lived In Germany, now I'm reduced to "angolo di deriva", which sounds much less dramatic and by the time you've said it, you're facing the wrong way!

"The Art of Driftwinkeling" sounds much better than "Evolution des Driftwinkels".
Very nice!
