I am currently trying to research as much info as possible on the Olio Fiat liveried cars, drivers, events etc.
Can anyone supply me with photos, documents, magazine articles, history or even web site links or any information, no matter how trivial it may seem.
Anything would be appreciated, anything available for loan would be copied and sent back by return of post.
Thanks in anticipation.
Regards,
Mick

In case you haven't seen them, there are some pictures of the Fiat Olio car in my members photo gallery.

Thanks John,
I've already printed a set of them to add to my folder. If you have any other info no matter how insignificant, I'd appreciate it.
Does anyone know how Fabrizio Tabaton fared in the 1980 San Remo rally and what other rallies he competed in the same car?
Cheers.
Mick

I know for sure that the car was driven by Tabbaton & Radamelli at San Remo in 1980:

DNF (Engine) - Rallye San Remo #22 from 10/06/80 to 10/11/80, car #24.

Other drives by Tabbaton include:

Tabbaton & Perssuti & Pirro
??? - Giro d' Italia #8 from 10/31/80 to 11/06/80, car #592.

Tabbaton & Tedeschini
1st - Coppa Liburna from 09/18/81 to 09/19/81.
DNF (Gearbox) - Rally International Sicilia from 03/12/82 to 03/14/82, car #5.
2nd - Rally Costa Smerlda #5 from 04/1/82 to 04/03/82, car #6 (TON14329).
1st - Isola d'Elba #15 from 04/22/82 to 04/24/82, car #5.
5th - Rally del Ciocco from 07/01/82 to 07/3/82.
1st - Colline di Romanga from 07/24/82 to 07/25/82.

I'm not sure how many (if any) of these were in the Fiat Olio livery. Car TON14329 is listed as being 'blue' for two drives by Alen and 'Chardonet' (blue) for several drives by Darniche - it's probably a different car.

That's about all the info I've got.

Hi John,

Thanks for that. I understood that Tabaton actually drove several cars during the same year but suspected that it may have been one of the Olio Fiat 131's.
All these pieces are helping me fill in spaces though.

Thanks again.

Cheers,

Mick
