Does anybody know whether you can buy a steering boss to fit a momo wheel to an x1/9 / Beta column?. I've tried a few (Tweeks etc) but nobody either lists or responds to email enquiries.
Cheers
Bob.

I think that the Mountney PCD is quite a bit different (larger?) to the Momo, or Sparco, wheel mounting hubs, so no luck with that.
You could try getting a Raid hub fitting kit, as they did provide the right part to mount onto the Fiat column. Not sure if that only comes as part of the Snap-off hub kit - which is what I've got - but that seems a useful extra option.

Keep checking the fiat/lancia and classic fiat/lancia parts sections on ebay. they come up quite often. Gen abarth parts too. :)

Mountney also make wheels with a MOMO type fit these days, as well as their old type larger fitting. Just to confuse things.

Check spline size with seller(number and outer diameter)

Thanks for all the help, does anybody know if I have been correctly informed that the splines and therefore fitments are the same on both the X1/9 and Beta columns?.
Cheers
Bob.

I had an X 1/9 wheel on a Beta column for a while. The horn-push contacts and self-cancelling indicator 'prod' are both different though. I had to strip all the plastic bits off the X 1/9 wheel so it didn't damage anything. Fitted the spline fine though.

Thanks for that Chris, I haven't had self cancelling idicators since I bought the car with the Mountney wheel fitted anyway.
Cheers
Bob.
