Where is the main fuse box normally fitted on the hawk loom? (I'm sure if I call Gerry the answer would be something like "where the wires end")Where have you fitted yours and why? I've seen some fitted on the pasenger side inner wheel arch but not paid much attention until now.

You might have already seen this in the gallery. On my blue car most of the fuses were on the inner wing (see attached)

The same car has some under the front end (attached)

It's best if they're inside, but if you have anything like that under the front, keep it away from the vertical face of the front bulkhead. Where the water runs down from the overflowing windscreen channel.

That'll be why an Allora or Corse has a small vertical drainage channel in the middle?

I've put mine on the top of the tunnel, at the front sort of between the two footwells. Not authentic in any way but accessible to a dwarf with abseiling skills.

Hi again :)
I copied how Chris Smith does all his with a hinged Ally flap that can drop down from under the passenger side dash for mine.
The additional ones for Rad Fans / Pod went under the front but in a waterproof relay/fuse box from Vehicle wiring products. Similar sort of place to Chris J's.

That all sounds good to me. I'd like to avoid the passenger side as they may tend to get knocked - if anyone will sit in with me! Drop down flap an excellent idea, Chris never ceases to amaze me with these little but important things.

Think I will go for a drop down flap just left of the coloumn, the heater is on the passenger side and we all know what it would do with a fuse box in close proximity.
