I wonder if anybody out there has the same problem with the Veglia instruments: In spring
and autumn time, basicaly when then temperature is lower than in summer timer (and maybe the
humidity higher) I have the problem, that on the inside of the glas water condenses and
forms a kind of "fog" after approx. 20 minutes of drive. The instruments seem to be quite
warm at that time and I assume, that the humidity of the air inside condenses, because the
glas-temperature is below the condensing-point. Driving very long the fog goes away again.
In summertime it does not even create. The effect is on almost every instrument. I think the
problem is that the instruments are closed and do not allow any ventilation, thus eventual
humidity stays where it is and dependend on outside (= glass) temperature the effect is
vivid.
Has anybody the same problem and a suggestion how to solve? I thought of drilling small
holes is the instrument plastic cases to allow ventilation. A maybe crazy idea (too
complicated) could be to connect the instruments via small nipples and a choke to the
suction-hose (for brake). There must be something easier.....
Have fun, Andreas
