BTT with lower price and some more info.

New bits are rear tyres, coolant radiator and oil pressure sender (don't ask!). Has stainless cat-back exhaust system.

Fitted with tow bar & electrics (working). Trim is grey leather. 4 speed auto box, HO spec 4L motor, transfer box works perfectly in all modes and switches cleanly between them.

Is that a Thema I see?

The 155's still in favour then Chris?

It's doing better than the Jeep?

Hi Chris,

Yep - a '94 VIS. It's the reason the Jeep is for sale. Don't need 3 'normal' cars. Wasn't looking for another car, just came across it by accident. Starting to look like a stupid idea now, as before I started trying to sell the Jeep, I was blissfully unaware of just how little it is now worth and just how many are out there for sale. Might be better off selling the Thema.

The 155 is still and always out of favour, it's just that the Jeep is a more honest car to sell. I wouldn't be suprised if the Alfa burst into flames just for the crack to be honest. Without doubt the worst car I have ever bought in terms of value for money, hassle, grief and general cussedness.....in fact, torching it isn't a bad idea. I wouldn't claim on the insurance you understand, it would be worth it just to watch the ba5tard burn.

I've advertsied the Alfa on the Alfaowner forum but don't expect much luck. Had to put new big-end shells in it a few weeks ago, new cams a few weeks before that, new radiator a few weeks before that...and so it goes. Always serviced on schedule, always used the right oils etc. Only failing was using filters that had inadequate non-return valves. Not something you find out the easy way it seems.
