Hi Lyndon.

OT gauges are pretty rare....I faked one up out of a water temp gauge and a rather nice new label Andy Way printed for me. Sadly, my attempt at a hand-painted scale wasn't so hot so will likely get re-done one of these days.

I might have one or two of the bits you are after but won't be able to look until the weekend. I know I've got a rheostat, might have one or two of the switches and I have a Carrello (sp?) rectangular red lamp with a rubber boot. I think it's actually a tail light of some sort but might work. It's possible it's actually the same thing as used on the originals??? I'll sort out a picture of it if you are interested. I've also got what I think is a Volvo rectangular red warning lamp as well. Plain red. If SVA matters, it'll need a suitable legend on it BTW.

Thanks Andrew, if you manage to locate any of these items I will be very grateful and will of course pay you for them.

Lyndon,

OK, found the following items;

Dash illumination rheostat.

Rocker switch for interior light (it has a symbol that suggests an overhead lamp with 'rays' shining out of it) has 3 terminals H, L & V

A reactangular red lamp, no legend (or anything) on it). Lens is 18mm x 40mm, overall with surround is 28mm x 50mm

The Carello lamp I mentioned, has 14.450.718 on it and the lens is about 25mm x 42mm

Also found an exterior light rocker switch (3 position) and a heated rear window rocker switch.

All switches have decent bezels.

I'll take some pictures if I can remember my camera.....

Guy

Where do you source the rectangular light on the dash facia?

The only ones I've found that are correct out of the box are from a '78ish Fiat 126. However the Fiat 124 Spider genrally has two, three or four on the centre part of the dash. These have various logos on them but the writing or graphics are easily removed with sandpaper and the surface can be polished back to perfection with T Cut. I'm always on the lookout for 124 Spider stuff and if I see any I'll grab them, mod them and pass them on. Since they generally come with other bits I'm after they go free to good homes. However, those that promise beer tend to get them first!
