View Full Version : Anyone with Electric windows???

I have been working through the electrical gremlins today.

Sorted all the earths out and now I even have dashboad lights.

However the drivers side electric window doesn't work and neither does the switch that operates the passenger side window from the drivers side. (Passenger side window works fine with passenger side switch)

Anyone know what car donated the switches and window motors? I have a feeling this may be a very difficult question to answer as it could be from anything. But thought it worth a try before I ring Gerry and ask his advice. The motors look like Beta-ish???

One switch may well have blown so I'm a bit suspect of it and would like to try out a "spare". I think the window motor has seized and will be testing out another from an Integrale at some point soon.

As ever my thanks in advance.

Hi Matt,

Any chance you could forward a piccie of the offending motor and switch? 3 or 4 different types of Beta window motor (as I'm sure you know) were fitted to Betas - assuming it is beta based ofcourse...
I did pass on a set of fiat Tempra switches and motors to one Stratos builder a few months ago..... I wonder if they are similar to the Delta items? The fact that there's a switch on the drivers side for the passanger suggests to me it might not be Beta...
