Regarding a consortium Lancia logo (with big 'L' for Lancia) Momo fitting horn button.

Tim mentioned this today, but I think it's been mentioned before.

If most Momo type horn push buttons are manufactured in the same as the one that I have, it would be dead easy to change the logo. My horn button comes apart, and the Lancia logo is just a printed plastic disc covered by a clear plastic 'button'. The button is concave in shape.

I doubt that it's possible to easily modify the usual dome shaped Momo buttons in the same way. I can't be sure about that until I've studied one, but at the moment I can't imagine it would be that easy.

I understand that there are replica Stratos Lancia logo (with big L) horn buttons available, but these are made to fit a Ferrero wheel which have a slightly larger hole in the centre of the steering wheel.

Just to show how it fits together:

...and how it could be changed:

Chris, did you ever manage to replicate the original as I have one of Gerry's original pattern steering wheels and want a horn button. The hole in the boss measures 50.28mm but can be machined a touch larger if needs be,I know it's 2+ years ago but it's worth a try'

No, I didn't do any more with it Lyndon.

It would be good to have some made though?

I didn't have a clear enough image of the proper logo in any case, but I'm sure that could be achieved somehow.

Are the replica wheels fixing holes drilled for the original Ferrero pcd (75mm) rather than the MOMO 70mm?

If I could get the arwork sorted, and then get a supplier like this:

to make up some 'domed acrylic badges' maybe they could be made up as horn buttons. Maybe using an existing MOMO button or making a turning a new one up?

'Just a thought?
