I have finally finished my filler caps off. Some time ago i had my tanks made with a tube on top instead of the normal hawk design. I planned on fitting a pair of aston caps but now sva has complicated matters. My way round things has been to use two 164 filler assemblies which have had the threaded section cut off, leaving a flange to bolt the cap to. I can now retain the hinged flap inside and just use the alfa rubber connector to fit it all to the tank.

Thanks to John Rutter for donating his 164 donors filler assembly.

A pic would make this easier to imagine John, if you can. :)
