My car is off on it's travels again, this time a little 10km trip for the final coats of paint. I had intended to do the whole lot but red with embedded flys and bird s**t wouldn't look right. Two weeks he said...........

.......hmmm...another Monte moment flashback...

Can't wait till you get your car done so we can all come out and play again!........You never know even Susit may have got his car back on the road again by then!!

Pics tomorrow hopfully. Paid a visit today and the engine is bolted in place.
not sure if its the right place but its there. On a down side having got the rear section back from the repairman on monday night first glance it seems a fair job considering what he had to start with however a proper inspection shows a number of problems with fit more on that later.

Don't worry Stephen. There's no such thing as a problem with the fitting. They never fit and that's it! No Problem!

Four weeks now, and when I visited this morning, he's just finished the rubbing down. Hey Ho! :o

anyway whats wrong with bird s**t in the paint ???.... just put a sticker on it !!

Most of it's back. Sorry Bernard, your garage will be occupied for a few months yet.

Not convinced that it really needed the two system two pack paint but it ain't alf shiny. Cost almost three times the original quote, just the doors to be finished and it can be left to dry in peace.
